Our commitment

Nesivos Behavioral Health is working to make this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification.

Standard we are working to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What has been done

  • Text and background color combinations corrected so content is readable
  • A main landmark and a single page heading added to every page, so screen reader users can navigate by structure
  • Accessible names added to icon links such as phone, email, and map
  • Keyboard tab order corrected, and scrollable areas made reachable by keyboard
  • Links distinguished by underline rather than color alone

Known limitations

We are being straightforward about what is not finished. Some third party components, including embedded maps and form widgets, are not fully under our control. We are reviewing these and will address what we can.
